We hold 3 workshops a year during the major school holidays
The Workshops provide children of all ages and ability the opportunity to sing, dance and act out scenes from past and current West End musicals. The musicals chosen for each Workshop will depend on the professional performers who will be teaching that day.
Children will have the opportunity to sing famous musical songs, act out popular scenes and experience original choreography all taught by performers who are either currently performing or have performed in that show, culminating in an informal performance at the end of the Workshops.
The School also holds a raffle at the end of each Workshop with the proceeds going to local and national charities. Tickets cost £1 per ticket and prizes range from CD's and DVD's of West End shows to signed merchandise and tickets for West End Shows.
So far the School has raised over £800 for the following charities:
- The Ipswich Epilepsy Support Group - £350
- NSPCC - £150
- Cancer Research UK - £100
- John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation - £150
- Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Foundation - £50
